For service and very friendly service as well as food TOP Always my pleasure::))
Absolutely delicious food, three of us had dinner there and there were 3 extremely satisfied faces, price-performance ratio is excellent.
Delicious eaten
Change of ownership. Caution New name and new management. I have often ordered food from the new owners there during the Corona period and I am convinced of the quality of the products. My favorite food is i.a. Samosa. A clear recommendation from me.
Delicious!!!
Has changed its name but the cook has stayed the same. Was delicious and the staff friendly
Delicious food and very friendly personnel!!!
Super delicious food, highly recommended delivers quickly and reliably :)
My absolute favorite restaurant. The best Indian food I've ever eaten! All other places are falling away. Very personable owner, good prices and short waiting times!
Great Indian food! It is really tasty, from the samosas to the chicken Tikka massala to the papadams : ) Every time we're in Aachen this is our first choice!
The food was delicious and by far the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Very nice service. In addition, the prices are not too high and not too low. Definitely recommendable.
Was there with my partner. Food was very good. A bit cramped in the restaurant. But you don't stay forever.
A very cozy oasis in Aachen I can recommend the lamb dishes super delicious ? top price performance and perfect service I will be back soon
Very very delicious food cozy atmosphere and friendly service we will definitely come back ?
Thx for the nice food
Good Indian restaurant in the city center of Aachen. Varied menu. Authentic cuisine. These are also served hot.
Super Service. Very good food. Definitely worth one to indian food! Always my pleasure.
Delicious food. Better than the standard
The food is not good. We ordered many varieties of vegetarian food and none of them were tasty. The dishes weren’t anywhere near to original indian recipes. We were served readymade chapati and paratha which you get at Indian stores in Germany. And considering this, the price we paid was really high. Wouldn’t revisit this place.
The lady who own/or work is a big fraud. On the menu bar, the amount of things written different and she charged higher than that.
Really good authentic Indian food.
The food was nice, we ordered chana masala. A bit oily for me. We also ordered vegetable soup, it was tasty. I would say that the service could have been better. I felt like she could have been more formal and could have remembered what her customers ordered. she asked all the customers what they ordered when they wanted to pay.
I dont have option to give minus rating. I have ordered food via lieferando. After waiting for two hours, it suddenly showed, order is delivered. The person is not picking up any phone, neither called back. Highly unprofessional and weird behaviour. Never order from this restaurant.
Fantastic food
The worst chicken biryani I have ever seen in this restaurant. The rice and chicken were mixed with a sauce which was sweet taste! He just gave a pot of biryani without any raitha (curd chutney)! Even he don’t offer normal water for this. He charged 2.5 Euro just for a glass of general water! I hope he is not from India! He don’t know what is biryani and cooking! This worst thing is people enjoying this kind of food here in Aachen and think that biryani taste is this! I recommend people before you go to this restaurant what is biryani how it will be served as in India!
The owner hosted well, quiet neighborhood, bar attached . The food average but the quality was below. The curries tasted the same and the unsatisfying part was the frozen starters , which deep fried was little hard chewy. Only cash! Card machine doesn’t work for the past 6 months .. found it weird and the reason was strange .. almost 15 euros per main dish and 5 euros for starters
Great food. Friendly service. Waiter made good effort to assist in English.
Decent food and a decent owner. Ambience is nice, with a TV playing Indian songs continuously. It's owned by a Bangladeshi (not a problem. Just a reminder for those who go there expecting authentic Punjabi food). I tried the afternoon veg thali, which was a delicious mix of mushrooms, carrots, capsicum and various spices.
Great food, our whole family loved a curry at noon each. Goods in transit from the holiday. Daughter has forgotten her favorite jacket then in the local and the nice owner has sent us then after contact by mail! Super Service .
Super delicious food but the rice portions are small .. you can of course also reorder for an extra charge. You could arrows something about the prices ... otherwise it's really delicious and the service is warm
Tasty indian food and good service
I won't recommend this restaurant. Horrible food. Bunch of immatures. They gave me wrong order and food taste horrible. Not even close to what Indian food taste. May be they are from Bangladesh or some place else.
The food was OK, but not spectacular. The portions were good. It was not horribly expensive but nor was it really cheap. However, some of the items on the menu weren't available (no naan bread). And worse, no coffee at all. And they don't take credit cards. Cash only. I had to go down the road to the bank to get cash. I took a punt having seen the mixed reviews because it was close by. I'm a bit disappointed though.
Best feta and cheese curry ever tasted. Good value too
Excellent
Decent food. Had ordered the Chicken Phaal curry and it was spicy but not as spicy as it's supposed to be (It's supposed to be the hottest spiciest curry in the world!). Would definitely want to try out some other dishes and see how it turns out though.
No good quality service, they started cleaning the restaurant's floor while we were eating!! the staff should start taking care of their hygiene.. food was not tasty, probably defrozen or something -_- I would not recommend
Tasty food, small scale restaurant. Inexpensive.
Best Indian restaurant in Aachen!! Spicy food and friendly staff!!
It's not cheap, but it's very very good. Tasty and spicy of that's what you like. They don't mess around! Only shame was I got too full. Oh, and top quality parathas!
Ok, but not good! The samosas were ok, but primarily only potatoes with no meat as a filling, totally overpriced (5.50 real, but mine, the menu was only 3.50, but in the end there was no time to check the menu) what is served for that. The two sauces that were forgotten by the service at first did not suit the taste of the samosas for my taste, so they mostly ignored them. The lunch menu chicken thali (7.50) was basically "chicken goulash with sauce" + lightly spiced cabbage + rice, see photo, spiced for the old age (not spicy, only moderately aromatic), therefore have requested additional hot sauce - but was hardly sharper. Overall, the food was moderately spiced "Indian" at best; Although somewhat harmless spicy, but certainly not as I know it from good Indian restaurants or as I have met during a 3.5-month stay in India once. The chicken thali was tastefully suitable for old age. No Indian restaurant that has this title "entitled" may serve food with this "old age suitable" feature! The "Indian Curryhouse" is therefore (with respect to this court) not Indian, but is called only like that! To be fair, however, the note that on the dinner menu with dishes "spicy" designated, but I did not try, as this was my first visit. Also, with the lunch menu the same mistake that so many Indian restaurants make: they mostly serve only "goulash with sauce" and rice! Where is the variety of vegetables in every single dish? Vegetables mean more than just the onions and tomatoes - which appear on the menu anyway with only a few dishes. Where are the peas, carrots, broccoli, zucchini, young beans and the fruits? And then (evening menu) they charge 13 Euros for it and wonder that the restaurant stays almost empty! Spicy "goulash with sauce" can almost all better and cheaper, especially the Turkish and Greek restaurants, I do not go to an "Indian". Who wants to survive longer than "Indians" in Germany, should u. a. here (for 13) offer more! The Indian tea was delicious (2.50). There was no music, style more like a pub. The landlord was always loud on the phone. I was the only guest there for the longest time of my midday stay. In total, then were 15.50 on the note - you can indeed do it, if you are right in the area, but that's nothing, what an extra journey worth. A pity, if ever again only because of the "sharp" dishes on the evening menu come back, that would be the 2nd attempt. There are some fast food restaurants in Aachen that offer tastier "Asian" food for less than this Chicken Thali and the Samosas. The landlord should come up with something if he wants to survive.
Ok place for Indian food..not so Authentic but close taste to Bengali or Bangladeshi food
Good curries, tasty. Fair prices, but lack of cleanliness.
Our favorite restaurant in Aachen. Super service and great food!
The restuarant is anything but indian. I guess the owner and chef both are from indian subcontinent but not indian and it explains their shocking lack of knowledge of indian food. Ordered Dal Makhani and got a sweet arhar Dal. Not only the taste was shocking but it just amazed me, how pole apart it was from the actual Dal makhani. The second dish we ordered was mix veg, but got a sweet-sour curry with zucchini as the primary ingredient and a couple of pieces of Cauliflower. However, that wasn't all. To go with above two, we had ordered chapati.... and Gem of a chef served the packed rotis, one generally buys in indian grocerry shops... thats right, packed rotis reluctantly heated and served impudently! Needless to say couldnt even eat half of the food and had to leave after paying for all of this overprized stuff.... Oh, Finally the must avoid is Mango lassi... To anyone reading this review, Do yourself a favour and avoid this place (especially if you are indian)
Great food. Friendly service. Waiter made good effort to assist in English.
Have received a SocialDeal voucher. Furniture is not my cup of tea, lots of plastic (flowers). The owner is very nice even if the communication in German is still a bit limp. Food and drinks were very tasty, good mango lassi and tasty sauces, both mild and medium-hot.
If Google had an option of not rating at all, I would've chosen that!! Extremely bad experience. We were served wrong drinks and were expected to drink the same without exchanging! The restaurant didn't have any exhaust fan I guess which made the whole sitting area filled with smoke.. The quality or quantity of food is not so great.. The staff started advising us about not to reserve the tables! How ridiculous.. There are much better Indian restaurants in Aachen which is a must try.. We made a mistake!
Good food
Good ambience and food
